Ingredients for Jaggery Tea Recipe

Ingredients for Jaggery Tea Recipe
• 2½ tea cups water
• Jaggery (gud) grated 3-4 tablespoons
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 2 teaspoons Tea Powder
• Green cardamom broken 1
• A pinch of carom seeds (Ajwain)
• ½ teaspoons up to 1 teaspoons dried turmeric powder (haldi)
• 1-2 whole cloves
• A pinch of coffee powder
• A pinch of Nigella seeds (Kalonji)
• 1 tablespoon ginger root (fresh, raw, about 1 inche of ginger root)
• 1/2 tablespoon butter (salted or unsalted)
• Milk 1 cup

Directions:

• Boil water in a vessle. Stir the tea powder and a pinch of coffee powder in water thoroughly with a spoon until they are completely blended.
• Add jaggery and tea powder in it and boil it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
• Add honey cardamoms, carom seeds (ajwain), turmeric (haldi) powder kalonji, ginger root and boil it for next 6-7 minutes. until bubble starts to rise. You will see the change in color of the tea to brown shade when it is ready.
• Turn off the gas and strain tea in cups add milk and add butter topping on it.
